Post discharge Care
This magnificent facility at Beis Brucha (former mother and baby home) with beautifully furnished single en-suite bedrooms (many rooms have garden access) is for people who have tested positive for COVID and require care /support upon discharge. The facility is staffed by a manager and two live in care workers, and is further supported by Hatzola who provide twice daily medical monitoring to all residents. Average length of stay is 2- 3 weeks and patients who have been discharged have achieved excellent outcomes and improved health and wellbeing.
Kosher Food Boxes
In partnership with Hackney and Haringey Councils, we are preparing and delivering over 100 Kosher food boxes every Thursday evening. The parcels are packed and delivered by volunteers and include a careful selection of basic dry foods, household goods, fruit and veg. Community sponsors have contributed challahs, grape juice and a hamodia further enhancing the parcel selection. If you are isolated and have difficulty with getting to the shops and would like to find out if you meet the criteria for a food box, please call the Helpline or Bikur Cholim.

PPE
In an effort to protect our service users and staff, we have invested in enhanced PPE including single use Hazmat suits which provide full body protection as well as gloves, masks, aprons and goggles to all our care staff who are providing personal care to service users in their own homes. This level of protection has made it as safe as possible for theses vulnerable people to continue to be cared for in the community.
